Felix Falczyk and Johanna Herschel are performance artists based in Berlin. They are interested in strategies and tactics for the misappropriation of everyday situations. They presented their work at Mousonturm Frankfurt, the International Schiller Days at the National Theater Mannheim, zeitraumexit Mannheim, Zeitzeug-Festival Bochum, ARENA-Festival Erlangen, TanzArt-Festival Giessen, among others. Internationally, the works of Felix Falczyk and Johanna Herschel were invited to the Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje in the frame of CRIC-Festival for critical culture and to the confluence-Festival in Stockholm. They presented artistic research in the frame of The New Centre for Research & Practice as well as the School for Politics and Critique.
Felix Falczyk (*1993) studied Applied Theater Studies at the Justus Liebig University Giessen with Xavier Le Roy, Ivana Müller and Walid Raad, among others, and Theater Directing at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds an M.A. in Applied Theater Studies with a focus on the practice of performative arts.
Johanna Herschel (*1992) studied Applied Theater Studies at the Justus Liebig University Giessen with Xavier Le Roy, Ivana Müller and Walid Raad, among others, and Philosophy and Gender Studies with Katerina Kolozova at the Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities Skopje. She holds an M.A. in Applied Theater Studies with a focus on the practice of performative arts.
